The Odra river trail, part VIII. DOT77
Route details
Chocianow-Glogow
I have saved the best for last! It is a fantastic 76 km undividable loop and it leads almost entirely right next to the Odra River. You often go on narrow paths, in tall grasses, on or at the base of river embankments. I dedicate it to experienced teams for whom contact with nature is the greatest value. I assumed Glogow as the starting point and go clockwise.
Northern section
Two places are worth special mention: Barycz and its nearby estuary and the bends at the Belcz river. You can enjoy there probably the most beautiful view of the Odra river in Lower Silesia.
Southern section
There you can enjoy the oxbow lakes near Chelm where you can follow a nature trail and wetlands and meadows near Debinki make the greatest impression.
Glogow
There is so much to see and visit there that I will limit myself to a few photos.
