Route details

Short characteristics

It is one of the most popular paths in Lower Silesia. It starts at the lookout in Slawoszowice
and runs mostly along the dykes of the Stawno complex across the area of the Milicz Ponds
Reserve. The roads are comfortable to cycle (hardened dirt roads and cobblestones) and the
views are great. In one word: it is a must-see for the Lower Silesians. The track is 8km long
but you still need to close the loop, which makes it about 11km altogether. It is worth
extending the trip to Gajdowka (Godnowiec Pond) as there is a ‘sister’ path (In the Land of
Birds) to the one described and you will find another lookout there.
